ROOF
Limasan roofs generally use Java tiles made of clay. This java tiles has existed since time immemorial. At the present time Java tiles have been damaged and broken tiles replaced with an artificial current. This java tile ago during the rainy season there is often the falls but when falling tiles are not broken.

FLOOR
For Limasan house floor there is a use of white stone tiles and others only use the land.

WALL INSULATION
Wall insulation called 'gebyok'. Gebyok is made of natural teak wood, which means trees are of age are taken directly from the forest.

 


DOOR
Javanese traditional home generally have shorter door, so that if crossing the door must hang his head. This door has a philosophy that guests must respect the host with bowed head. Although we did not see anyone inside, we must remain lowered his head to respect for home. 

Short style doors
Gedong door

 
In the partition wall 'sentong' (the local name of the room) there is a unique door, called the door 'Gedong'. This gedong door  is different because it is located approximately 20 cm above the floor and to run through the door gedong that we must move to lift a foot taller.
