DUSUN DUWET
Duwet Hamlet is a hamlet located in the village Purwodadi Tepus District of Gunung Kidul Regency DIY. This hamlet is located at the southern most village Purwodadi. Hamlet Duwet region led by Mr. Tugimin as head of the hamlet of Dukuh.

ARCHITECTURE REVIEW 
Java architecture works in this village is an architectural vernacular. Vernacular architecture grew from folk architecture, built with local resources with a simple method that accommodates the needs of the community as well as pay attention to the existing socio-cultural order. Javanese traditional architecture in the village there are two typologies Duwet namely: 
• Limasan 
• Kampung Mbale

1. Limasan
In the hamlet Duwet many limasan-type house, but the houses are not using the Limasan type natural wood. There are 2 types of original limasan house and still can be seen from the shape and the visual owned Mr. Tugimin as head of the hamlet and the other one belongs to the Mr. Sukiran,  and both have almost the same characteristics.

• HOUSE HISTORY
Mr. Tugimin not know exactly when it was built. He estimates that his house was built in the Dutch colonial era. In the reign of the time it's all teak trees in controlled by the government, so that the natives who cut teak trees will be punished. Therefore controlled by the government, it takes courage to build a house for illegal felling of teak trees. If people do not have the courage then he can not build a house, because at the time it was hard to get wood.

Tools to build a house at the time was only using pethel (ax), because there is no such saws today. This house was built around the year 1930 Blandar porch and house porch pole original Mr. Tugimin still has not changed.

Formerly home Mr. Tugimin all made ​​from old teak wood around the 70's or 80's years, but is now changing the side wall has been replaced with a brick wall. The house belongs to Mr. Tugimin Limasan made ​​by artisans. The artisans were brought from far northern precisely in the area Nggawi Wonosari. Building a house is used in the calculation of the Java language "ojo doyongan" which has meaning for the house was not sold. According to Mr. Tugimin grandfather Java calculation that can be made Tembung "Gubek". Tembung "Gubek" shall have the meanings of the homeowner does not want this house sold because it can be lowered so that the generations to their grandchildren.
